FUN FACT: Laurent-Perrier is a pioneering, family-owned Champagne house based in Tours-sur-Marne. Founded in 1812 and renowned for its fresh, elegant style. It revolutionized the industry in the 1950s by introducing stainless steel fermentation 🍾

With it's stream of fine bubbles and pale golden colour, this champagne is fresh on the palate with notes of peach, green apple and a beautiful creaminess - this is definitely a favourite to have on ice 🥂

Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival - one of the World's premier whisky festivals, is one of the biggest highlights our calendar 🥃

On one of the days, Dallas Dhu opened their doors for a spectacular family open day & we ventured inside for a wonderful tour of this historic speyside malt distillery.

Founded in 1898 by Alexander Edward as "Dallasmore" and renamed to "Dallas Dhu" (meaning "black water valley"), where production began on 29 May 1899, with the final barrel filled on 16 March 1983. This distillery faced a lot of challenges with surviving a fire in 1939 and a closure in the 1930s depression, before it finally closed in the 1980s due to an industry recession.

It was then acquired by Historic Environment Scotland in 1988 to preserve the machinery and open its doors again, but as a museum.

Since then, plans are underway by Aceo Ltd. to fire back up the boilers, kilns and stills to begin production back to life as the copper stills have "20 years left in them"

We cannot wait to see it back in action! 😉

This event will be hosted by Fountainhall Wines and there will be 3 whiskies and 3 gins to taste.

Tickets are £20 but if any non whisky and gin drinkers wish to attend the ticket will cost £10. There will be a raffle on the night.
