Our first wine tasting event of the year will take place on Friday the 1st of May, ahead of the bank holiday weekend. No trip to Verona and Lake Garda would be complete without a visit to the Cesari winery in Fumane. Nestled in the foot hills of the Dolomites north of Verona, this is one of our long standing favourites. We tested 3 whites, 3 red and one sweet wine. This is classic Valpolicella with an excellent Ripasso and Amarone.

Currently in Northern Italy, first stop: CàMaiol, Sirmione, Lake Garda. Superb winery offering a wide selection of wines. Particularly enjoyed this easy-drinking Negresco. A red cuvee of Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera.
