It’s a great time to celebrate local farms as the key seasonal ingredients for making b**r are at their freshest. This is the second Fresh Hop b**r they have released this season. The first, Backyard Fresh Hop IPA used Centennial hops from Maple Bay Hop Farm and Pilsner Malt from Field 5 Farm.
This Fresh Hop Keller Pilsner is a totally different style using fresh Triple Perle Hops, also from Maple Bay, along with Field 5 Pilsner malt. Triple Perle is more subtle and has similarities to german noble hops pilsner brewing with grassy, floral, and gentle fruity spice notes. A keller pils is unfiltered and served young or fresh from the cellar, with more body, colour, and flavour than a standard pilsner or l***r. **r

Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout 🍺 NEW 🍺 The very unusual character of Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout stems from the fact that Kiuchi Brewery is using the recipe of a Russian Imperial Stout as base. Pitch black colour, big brown head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted bitterness, dark fruits. Roasted black and chocolate malts provide an explosion of coffee like flavours. The strong espresso character comes from the addition of espresso beans.
