For 35 years this store has looked out upon Nanaimo's waterfront harbor. It's the best corner office ever, with the ocean out our front window and the sounds of people enjoying some R&R providing the soundtrack of our days here.

TODAY is our 7th anniversary as store owners continuing to serve locals and visitors to this special place we are so very grateful to call home.

Molly’s Reach, made popular by CBC television series Beachcombers, which ran from 1972 until 1990, has sat empty since 2023. The owners retired and put the restaurant up for sale, hoping someone would carry on the Molly’s Reach legacy. Now, another local business plans to do just that.
