Some wine cellars are for aging wine - but at one point, the Drouhin cellars were also an escape route from the Gestapo!

During WWII, Maurice Drouhin was involved with the French Resistance. When the Gestapo came looking for him in 1944, he escaped through the family's ancient cellars beneath Beaune and made his way to the Hospices de Beaune, where he was hidden by the sisters until the liberation of the city.

And somehow, that's only one chapter in the history of Maison Joseph Drouhin.

Four generations later, the family is still making some of Burgundy's most celebrated wines.

Chile doesn't exactly need an introduction to Cabernet anymore.

But Don Melchor has been making the case for Chilean fine wine for a very long time.

The story goes back to 1883, when Bordeaux varieties were first planted in the Maipo Valley by Don Melchor de Santiago Co**ha y Toro.

Fast forward to 2021 and this vintage was named Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year.

The Cathiards have been the force behind Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux since 1990. In 2020, they added a historic Napa Valley estate to the family portfolio and began a new chapter with Cathiard Vineyard.

Now you can taste both sides of that story in one collection.

Two Smith Haut Lafitte vintages from Bordeaux, alongside Hora and Founding Brothers from Cathiard Vineyard in Napa.

Okay, this isn't JUST a pretty pink bottle. She's one of 2000 💅🏻

Lost Lore's Poca Madre ✨Limited Edition✨ Reposado was created by five women, including co-founder Sarah Lamas, as a tribute to her mother, who passed away from breast cancer 20 years ago. 

A portion of every bottle sold goes toward breast cancer awareness and early-detection education in Jalisco.

It's also a pretty serious tequila: high proof, aged in American oak and finished in French oak Port wine barrels.

But for us, it's the story behind the bottle that makes this one special.

Poca Madre means "awesome" or "incredible" and we think that's a pretty fitting name.💗

A little Schrader history in a very drinkable package. 🍷

Double Diamond was created by Fred Schrader in 2001 with a pretty simple goal: make seriously good Napa Cabernet that more people could actually enjoy.

The 2022 comes from Oakville and is crafted by Schrader winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, with fruit from younger vines in the legendary To Kalon vineyard. It's rich and concentrated, but still has the acidity and structure to keep things interesting.

Basically, if you're a Napa Cab person, this one deserves your attention.
