Black Stallion Spirits Inc. liquor agency has been operating since 2002. We work very closely with many restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels.

Today, our products are sold in over 500 liquor stores of Alberta including all major chains. We have expanded our activities to other provinces and now sell our products to Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

What is a Super Tuscan?

A fantastic question our team has heard countless times. In short, it is a w**e produced from Tuscany, Italy, that is made up using international varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, etc.). The w**es don’t receive official designations, but can be some of the biggest, boldest and most collectable w**es in the world, hence their Super status.

An excellent example is the Al Passo from TOLAINI. Equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that matures for 14 months in French Oak and shows beautiful balance, structure and elegance.

The 2022 vintage is currently in Alberta, and has been recognized with:

Introducing Undici by Hester Creek 🇨🇦.

This ‘Super Tuscan’ is majority Sangiovese with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Undici means “eleven” in Italian, and the grapes are harvested from Vineyard Eleven, known for being their best and making 11/10 w**e. 🍷

Aged for 24 months in French oak, you’ll experience notes of cacao, black cherry and to***co.

The 2022 Undici is a standout Canadian w**e, recently wining 96 points from John Schreiner. We are thrilled to have a few cases of this gem in Alberta!

Introducing the branding evolution of Black Stallion!

Our goal was to celebrate and stay true to the old logo, while bringing it into the present. To do so, we introduced two key components:

1) “W**es & Spirits” - For many years, w**e has been the backbone of our portfolio, and that is now reflected in our name and logo.

2) “Est. 2002” - To celebrate the origins of Black Stallion, as started by Sergei Maslov & , and the longevity they have achieved. Our 25th anniversary is just around the corner, and every passing year is an achievement.
