Three amazing girls travelled all the way from Wollongong today to join the Palestine march in Sydney CBD. After the march, they stopped by the greatest store on earth — Redfern Convenience Store — to grab some sweets and snacks for their families and the train ride home.

They walked in proudly wearing their Palestinian hats, and when I told them I had also been at the march, it felt powerful to share that moment together. I snapped a photo of them, and they became our

I know it’s been a while since we’ve done a customer of the day, but with everything happening in Gaza, I’ve held back from posting much. Still, these girls remind us why we keep marching, why we keep speaking, and why we keep sharing the message: Palestine will be free. 🇵🇸✊

📌 Our goal from these marches is clear: to raise our voices for the children of Gaza, to demand justice, and to make sure the world never looks away. Every step, every chant, and every stand is for them.

Today I walked side by side with my kids, nieces, and nephews at the Palestine march in Sydney. Their voices, their presence, and their courage remind me why we stand together every time — for justice, for freedom, for peace, and for the generations to come.

📌 May our children never have to march for their basic rights, but until that day, we will keep walking, keep speaking, and keep demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza.

A Taste of Palestine from Australia — Where Halal Meets Kosher in the Flavor of Peace.

Big thanks to Sanae from SBS Arabic for the amazing interview about Palestine Chocolate and how it all began.

After my sister came back from Jordan, heartbroken because she couldn’t reach Gaza during the war to help, I knew I had to do something — something with meaning.

That’s where Palestine Chocolate was born.
A small idea with a big message.
Every piece of chocolate carries the flavors of our culture and the spirit of our people. From Arabic coffee to rich dark blends, each bite is a voice for justice, unity, and peace.

The designs carry Palestinian symbols — the keffiyeh, the flag, the olive tree — and even our packaging speaks a message: Halal and Kosher, side by side, reminding the world that humanity comes first.

This isn’t just chocolate.
It’s love, resistance, and pride… wrapped in sweetness.

I first met Anna at while waiting for my coffee. I was standing near the cash register when Anna and her friend came to pay. Jokingly, I told them, “I’m happy to help you here—it’s my new job at the café!”

I was about to leave the Glebe store when I started recording a story for our Instagram page. That’s when I saw Khylen next to the 1kg Easter bunny. He picked it up, walked to the counter, and asked, ‘How much?’ The girl replied, ‘$64.99.’ Without hesitation, he said, ‘I’ll buy it.’

He left with a big smile on his face—and just like that, he became our !

Cynthiaa and her sister Bee have grown up in Redfern since they were little girls. They told us their dad used to avoid bringing them to our store because they would want to buy everything—just like ‘kids in a candy store’!

Now, Cynthiaa has two kids of her own and holds so many amazing memories from our store. She loves bringing her little ones here to share the special moments from her childhood.
