Compass Box Hedonism 2026 has arrived.

An annual release collectors wait for - and one of the most recognisable modern Scotch series in the world.

The 2026 edition takes Hedonism deeper and richer, built from aged grain whisky parcels including components up to 30 years old. Expect layers of cocoa, roasted almond, dates and warming spice wrapped in Hedonism’s signature silky texture.

This year’s release also unveils a new Hedonism Muse, featuring Karen Gillan interpreted through the work of artist Emma Hack - continuing the evolving visual identity that collectors follow closely.

Meet Dan Banks. The face behind Barrel & Batch Hawksburn.

With decades spent across wine retail, importing, education and hospitality, Dan brings a deep understanding of what makes a bottle worth opening. From vineyard visits across France to harvest at Château Mont-Redon in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, his experience is grounded in both the cellar and the shop floor.

Now leading our first Melbourne flagship, Dan brings the kind of knowledge that turns a recommendation into a conversation - with a story behind every bottle, from benchmark producers to rare cellar finds and unexpected discoveries.

Hedonism is back.

Hedonism 2026 leans deeper, richer and more indulgent than ever - layered with grain whisky parcels up to 30 years old and carrying notes of fruitcake, cocoa, roasted almond and soft spice through a signature creamy finish.

This year’s edition also introduces a new Hedonism Muse, featuring Karen Gillan and artwork by Emma Hack.

A whisky that collectors wait for every year.

Maker’s Mark Private Select leans into chocolate, espresso and dark fruit, with a warming, structured finish - drawn from a custom stave profile built for depth.

There’s a quiet weight to it, without losing the balance Maker’s is known for.

The Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Collection is live and exclusive to Barrel & Batch. 🥃

Four individual barrels, each bottled as it stood. No blending, no batch averaging, no smoothing out the edges.

Extra Blessing (62.5%) - coconut, rich wood and chocolate fudge with controlled barrel strength weight.

Big Banana (62.5%) - molasses, ripe banana and baking spice, building across the palate.

W4D (62.5%) - star anise, cardamom and mint over layered oak and evolving spice.

Angels Roost (45%) - vanilla, marzipan and cake fondant with refined, elegant sweetness.

Same distillate. Same process. Four completely different outcomes.
