One day, that cow will stroll down to the river for a drink, and guess who’ll be there? The previous owner. And you know what he’ll do? He’ll casually whistle, the cow will recognize him, and before you know it, milking session activated!

POLICE RECOVER 366 BAGS OF FERTILIZER.

April 24, 2025 – Following a report of breaking into a building and committing a felony therein at the Export Trading Group (ETG) Company warehouse in Lusaka, which occurred between 18:00 hours on April 20, 2025, and 06:00 hours on April 21, 2025, in Chinika Industrial Area, police have apprehended two suspects in connection with the incident and recovered 366 bags of fertilizer.

Police received a tip-off that led to the apprehension of Sydney Muma, a 47-year-old from Kanyama Compound. He is believed to be one of the drivers who transported the fertilizer from the warehouse using a white MAN truck bearing registration number BAR 6490.

Upon interrogation, the suspect led officers to Mumbwa, where the fertilizer was delivered.

In Mumbwa, officers apprehended a second suspect, Andrew Hamunji, aged 38, from Mumbwa District.

Hamunji, a businessman involved in Agro-related activities, was found in possession of 366 bags of Urea fertilizer, each weighing 50 kilograms and packed in ETG-branded bags, which have since been recovered.

The vehicle used in the transportation of the stolen goods has been impounded, and both suspects are currently in police custody.

Investigations into this matter have been intensified.

Maina Soko r**e victim's parents beg Army to allow daughter to get commissioned tomorrow after exclusion

PARENTS of officer cadet T, who recently was in the news to have been allegedly r**ed by an intern medical doctor, Waza Lungu, yesterday stormed Maina Soko Medical Center administration begging command to allow their daughter to be among hundreds President Hakainde Hichilema is set to commission as officers tomorrow, Friday, impeccable sources have told TV Yatu.

Officer cadet T, alleged that, while on duty, intern doctor Waza Lungu, 33, allegedly r**ed her at the Medical Center when she was a patient. This led to the arrest of Lungu, and an announcement by the Ministry of defense revealing the alleged incident.

Shortly after the alleged incident, varying accounts as to what possibly transpaired were shared and some suggested that Waza Lungu and the trainee officer were a thing.

On March 28, Waza Lungu appeared in court and said he was not guilty of the accusations levelled against him. Trial in this matter is set to start today, April 10.

New information on this matter suggests that, Army command has stumbled upon startling revelations that have compelled them to exclude the trainee officer from being part of those officially joining the prestigious ranks of one of Zambia's land armies.

The sources say, command's intention was to allow the alleged r**e victim to sort out her allegations against the young doctor without the Army seeming to be unfair on any of the two parties.

Meanwhile, Zambia Army Commander Lieutenant General Geoffrey Choongo Zyeele was at Military Training Establishment of Zambia (MILTEZ) yesterday, where preparation for the commissioning of officer cadets has intensified.

The Zambia Army reports that, the Commander was happy with the preparations.

"Lt Gen Zyeele has since commended the Officer Cadets for putting up a splendid parade that befits the standards of a modern Army. He urged the Officer Cadets to take care of themselves
