A group of 133 Russians and their family members left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said.

It said the evacuated people have been accommodated at the ministry’s task force headquarters in Cairo, where Russian rescuers, psychologists and doctors are providing them with medical assistance, food and water, and helping them go through the necessary paperwork.

The ministry said its aircraft will later take the evacuees to Moscow.

A phone call between Presidents Al-Assad and Putin in which they discussed ways to stop the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, and stressed the necessity of immediately bringing humanitarian aid to civilians in the Strip and stopping the bombing and displacement that the Israeli entity is pursuing against innocent people in Gaza.
