A Moment to Remember – Makoti Assist Celebration
Eight days later, and our hearts are still full.
Last weekend, we witnessed something truly special at the Makoti Assist Celebration—a gathering of love, legacy, and sisterhood. Today, we look back with deep gratitude as we honour the women who made this event unforgettable.
These two phenomenal women didn’t just show up—they brought their full selves, their stories, and their strength. With grace in every step and fire in their hearts, they stood as powerful symbols of what it means to be a makoti and a zibanaza. They were not alone—they came wrapped in the warmth of their clans, supported by their villages, and uplifted by the people who walk with them daily.
and reminded us of the beauty in showing up authentically, in holding space for others, and in celebrating womanhood boldly. They spoke, they shared, they moved us. And they did it all with elegance and humility.
To every woman who was nominated—you are all winners in your own right. This celebration was about you too: your resilience, your devotion, your quiet leadership. You are the heart of your homes and the soul of our communities.
To our entire Makoti Assist family, thank you for creating a space where women feel seen, valued, and celebrated. Let’s carry this spirit forward and continue building this powerful village—together.
