The 6th of June Johnson's Post Saturday Market will go ahead as planned despite the Gourtiz bridge being closed due to flood waters.

Pop in for a hot coffee, tasty pies, cakes and other delicious goodies.

🚧 Access to Johnson's Post is currently possible only via the Vleesbaai side and not from the Gourtiz side.

☕🥧 Coffee, pie, and a front-row seat to one of nature's greatest shows.

The Gouritz River is rising rapidly after the recent downpours, and floodwaters are expected to flow over the Gouritz Bridge near Johnson's Post once again.

Take a scenic drive, warm up with a hot pie and coffee, and experience the incredible force of the river as it carries the mountain rains to the sea.

A reminder to all visitors: admire from a safe distance and obey all road and safety warnings and any road closures.

Best view from Johnson’s Post - currently accessible from the Vleesbaai side only.

Today's specialities include, small pies, big pies, delicious chicken curry with basmati rice, old fashioned Boontjiesop and freshly baked sourdough bread.

🥧 Pie flavours include... Lamb, venison, chicken, bobotie and spinach and cheese & more. By popular demand BIG 20cm pies are available on order.
