Celebrate When Pigs Fly Day with Pick n Pay and make dinner a little more fun with this Sticky Pork & Chicken Wing Tray Bake — loaded with pork, sticky wings, roasted potatoes and carrots in a sweet-smoky glaze. 🍗🥔

⏱️ 55 mins | 🍽️ Serves 4

🛒 YOU’LL NEED:
500g pork sausages or pork rashers
800g chicken wings
4 potatoes
3 carrots
1 large onion
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp chutney
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp paprika
2 garlic cloves
Salt & pepper

👩‍🍳 LET’S COOK:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 200°C.

2️⃣ Add the wings, pork, chopped potatoes, carrots and onion to a roasting tray.

3️⃣ Mix the oil, tomato sauce, chutney, soy sauce, honey, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper.

4️⃣ Pour over the tray and toss until everything is well coated.

5️⃣ Roast for 35 mins, turning halfway.

6️⃣ Roast for another 10–15 mins until the chicken is cooked, pork is golden and potatoes are tender.

7️⃣ Brush with a little extra chutney in the last 5 mins for maximum stickiness. 🤤

Serve hot with coleslaw, salad, garlic bread or pap.

📚🔤 Tuesday dinner gets an A+ with Pick n Pay!

We’re celebrating World Literacy Day around the dinner table with Alphabet Soup & Cheesy Toasties — a fun, comforting and easy meal the whole family can enjoy. 🍲🧀

Make Tuesday dinner a little more fun — find all the ingredients you need at Pick n Pay. 🛒💙

⏱️ 35 mins | 🍽️ Serves 4

🛒 YOU’LL NEED:
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion
2 carrots
1 celery stalk
2 garlic cloves
400g chopped tomatoes
1.5L vegetable stock
100g alphabet pasta
Salt & pepper
8 slices white bread
200g cheddar cheese
Butter or margarine

👩‍🍳 LET’S COOK:
1️⃣ Fry the chopped onion, carrots and celery in oil for 5–7 mins. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

2️⃣ Add the tomatoes and stock. Bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for 15 mins.

3️⃣ Stir in the alphabet pasta and cook for 8–10 mins. Season to taste.

4️⃣ Sandwich grated cheddar between buttered bread slices and toast until golden and deliciously melty. 🧀

5️⃣ Dish up the soup, grab those toasties and get dipping! 😋

💡 Taylor’s Tip: No alphabet pasta? Any small pasta shapes will do.
