☀️ Saturday Morning Breakfast: Egg ‘n Toast 🍳

Start your weekend the delicious way 😍 Crispy golden toasties filled with melted cheddar and chives, topped with perfectly cooked eggs — the ultimate Saturday morning comfort breakfast!

🧀 Ingredients:
✔️ 4 slices sourdough bread
✔️ Butter, for spreading
✔️ Dijon and wholegrain mustard
✔️ 1½ cups grated mature cheddar
✔️ ¼ cup chopped chives
✔️ Salt and milled pepper
✔️ 2 extra-large eggs
✔️ Tomato wedges, for serving

👩‍🍳 Method:
✨ Butter one side of each bread slice and spread the other side with mustard.
✨ Add cheese and chives, then sandwich together with buttered sides facing out.
✨ Fry in an ovenproof pan until golden and toasted.
✨ Cut a hollow in the centre of each toastie, return to the pan and crack an egg into each hollow.
✨ Finish in the oven at 180ºC until eggs are cooked to your liking.
✨ Garnish with chives and serve with tomato wedges. 🤤

🍔 Friday Burger Fix: Doughnut Burger 🔥

Kick off the weekend with this fun and flavour-packed Doughnut Burger 😍 Served with crispy sweet potato fries, it’s the perfect Friday comfort meal!

🥩 Ingredients:
✔️ 4 PnP doughnut burgers
✔️ ¼ cup PnP Let’s Cook braai smoky barbeque marinade
✔️ 4 PnP white seeded burger buns
✔️ ¼ cup PnP salted butter
✔️ ½ cup PnP low fat spring onion & chives cream cheese
✔️ ½ PnP red onion, sliced in rings
✔️ ¼ PnP Queen pineapple, sliced into rings
✔️ Handful PnP Let’s Cook Italian parsley, chopped
✔️ PnP Live Well canola oil, for frying
✔️ 750g McCain Crispy Sweet Potato Fries
✔️ Flaky salt

👩‍🍳 Method:
✨ Braai the doughnut burgers over hot coals for 6–7 minutes per side until cooked and bacon is crispy. Baste with marinade when almost cooked.
✨ Slice burger buns, spread with butter and toast lightly.
✨ Spread cream cheese on the bottom buns and top with red onion, pineapple and the doughnut burger. Sprinkle with parsley and close with the top buns.
✨ Fry sweet potato fries for 8–10 minutes until crispy, drain and season with flaky salt.
