This release is a WhiskyBrother Exclusive. Selected by our team, bottled for us, and not available anywhere else in the world.

A single cask from Dunville’s Irish Whiskey, the historic Belfast brand revived by the Echlinville distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. This 12 year old single cask is produced from triple-distilled single malt, distilled in 2014, matured in an ex-bourbon barrel then finished in an Oloroso sherry cask, and bottled in May of this year. Only 315 bottles at cask strength.

A permanent expression from Walsh Whiskey based in County Carlow, Ireland, forming the core release in The Irishman range. Triple-distilled using Irish malted barley and matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and European oak Oloroso sherry casks.

Expect ripe peach, dried apricot, tropical fruit, vanilla and a lingering sweet oak and honey finish.

Raasay Hungarian Oak 50%, R1,790

The latest limited release from the Isle Of Raasay Distillery. Established in 2017, the innovative island distillery is one of Scotland’s most exciting new-wave producers.

The Hungarian Oak Cask is matured in seasoned ex-Oloroso sherry barriques made from Hungarian Quercus Petraea - an oak known for its slow growth and tight grain. Distilled from Scottish barley, lightly peated and unpeated spirit were matured separately in the Hungarian oak, then married together and bottled in March. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%.

Expect orange peel, roasted hazelnut and ginger. Coffee, dark chocolate and a lingering sweet orange and smoky bacon finish.

Metanoia Single Cask 56.5%, R1,590

We are proud to introduce our first-ever Metanoia Exclusive Release, a single cask from South Africa’s newest whisky producer in the Klein Karoo.

Selected together with distillery founder Kenny Scheepers and SA whisky icon Andy Watts, this unpeated single malt was matured in a red wine cask before being finished in an Oloroso sherry cask. With only 194 bottles available.

The release was showcased at The Only Whisky Show over the past two weeks, where it received great feedback from attendees who visited the stand.

A permanent expression from the Speyside distillery, added to the core range in 2019 and only recently returning to SA shelves. Matured predominantly in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Expect dark cherries, golden syrup and sweet spices, with hints of toffee, glazed figs, orange zest and hazelnuts.

For the first time in SA, we are pleased to welcome two limited releases from GlenAllachie’s peated Meikle Toir range, exciting new arrivals for fans of both the distillery and peated whisky.

Both releases are peated to 35 PPM and benefit from long fermentation, developing a fruity spirit that balances the smoke. The Chinquapin One is finished in virgin Chinquapin American oak, while The Sherry One is finished in PX and Oloroso sherry.

THE ONLY WHISKY SHOW ‘26 🎟️

Go beyond the show floor with our exclusive masterclasses: intimate, tutored tastings featuring exceptional whiskies and direct access to some of the industry’s most experienced personalities.

This year we welcome: Olaf Meier from SMWS, Kevin O’Gorman from Irish Distillers (JHB only) and Ronan Currie from GlenAllachie.

With only three masterclasses per night, these seated tastings are held in a separate room for an intimate experience. Each session runs for 70 minutes and is limited to 25 guests. Tickets are R200pp offering remarkable value for the calibre of the presenters, whiskies and experience.
