Funny story about this one. I started out with grand ideas of making my version of the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland - therefore the colors. . When I embroidered the face, it was sooooo horrible and scary looking, Alice would have run back up the rabbit hole!!! 🐇 😲 Tried to save it. 🫤 Oh,well... it was not for the lack of trying! (Y) 😊
EDIT: hmmm, so many of you think this is a male - I get it, with the dark whiskers that look like a mustache, but she has a bow on her head. Should I change the color of the whiskers? What color if so? I had them the rose color first but it didn't look right at all.
EDIT #2: the easiest thing for me to do, was to cut off the bow. So I am now introducing Claude!

My 6 yr old granddaughter asked me to make her a kitten like her MiMi (minioux) that died this past year. She says Grandma you know it was a girl so she needs pink top, bow and she needs a tail. This is the finished kitten, I know she will love it when she picks it up tomorrow.

Clown questions. I hope someone can help. 🙏
Wanted clown to have shape through the legs (like a baggy clown suit) so I drew in legs at the bottom. That seemed to help, however, I would like the feet to be bigger lengthwise - size 12 instead of size 3! Any ideas on how to do this?
Secondly, I picked up stitches for ruffle but think I should have held the doll upside down as ruffle is showing purl side? TIA 😊

This is my new baby doll. I want to tell how I made her skirt. I knitted doll on 34sts without sewing. When I finished legs, put it on side and cast old German method 34x3sts = 102sts, join in the round.
1 row all p
2 row all k
3 row 1 yarn over , 2tgk
4-8 rows all k
9 row 3tgk - back to 34sts
10 row purl together stitches from legs and skirt
Continue to sweater.

I’ve finished my first one.

Omigosh! Just finished this tiger and I think he's my new favourite. I think I'll need to make another one while I can remember what I did and also because I might find him hard to part with! I got very fancy and did moss stitch on his tummy. 😂

This my first Izzy doll. I knit him in the round on 2.5mm needles. I made the Pom Pom using a fork.

This little buckaroo turned out cuter than my intent. It started as a Gabby Doll but I realized the feet should be a bright color so went with some ideas I found in searches in this group for belts, cowboy, and hats. With those three words it led to this outcome. The hat pattern didn’t really make sense but it turned out with some tweaks. Won’t repost that pattern as I’m not comfortable sharing confusion. lol. The doll is the regular pettern in files with just variation in color changes I used 4.0mm needles which were a bit large for the cotton yarn as some stuffing can be seen Must say working with cotton yarn on these small comfort dolls is much easier then the smaller sport weight yarns. Going to attempt the Gabby doll next with smaller needles and yes bright shoes😅 Still looking for a better and more cowboy looking hat for the next little cowboy doll.

This is my first attempt at an Izzy doll. Happy with how it turned out.

My first doll! I'm quite pleased with it except for the white face (need to find some shades of flesh yarn!) and the back seam is messy. So I won't be part with it yet, not until I've made others using this one as my reminder of the bits I'm not so pleased with. Thanks to all of you for the amazing talents you all have and for the encouragement and support you offer. 💕
