It's Oddbins Time again! Two very special award-winning export gins in very limited quantities. Only available in South Africa because we always make a little extra when we are doing contract distilling - and it is too good to discard - so we bottle what we have as Oddbins!

Pink Mandarin is a Naartjie-infused citrus gin with a hint of hibiscus blush. African Dawn is a gorgeous blue gin infused with fresh blueberries. It turns pink when you add mixers and garnish (you have heard about the Blue Pea flower yes?) It reminds us of waking up before dawn, somewhere in Africa, and watching the sky turn from dark blue to pink as night turns to day. Priced at an amazing R310/bottle

Looks like beautiful weather for this Thursday for a change, not that the wind bothers us with out tree-shaded, sheltered patio at Christinas Cocktail and Wine Bar!

The December edition of First Thursday looks like being the biggest and best yet. Lots to see and do and a selection of Xmas stocking fillers from all the little shops and art studios. Come down and support local, and of course enjoy a delicious chilled cocktail at Christinas and watch the passing show

Your Perfect Martini Awaits 🍸

Keep it icy, keep it simple: the perfect Vodka Martini is all about temperature and a silky spirit. Make yours with our Premium Cape Vodka, shake it hard, serve it cold, and let the garnishes do the talking.

Vodka Martini — Recipe

Ingredients:
• 65 ml Deep South Premium Cape Vodka
• 10 ml extra dry vermouth
• 1 large stuffed olive/s
• Twist of freshly peeled lemon zest

Steps:
1. Pop a martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes (or chill with a handful of ice).
2. Thread olives onto a toothpick.
3. Prepare a fresh lemon peel twist.
4. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vodka and vermouth.
5. Shake well for at least 30 seconds.
6. Strain into the chilled glass.
7. Garnish with olives and a lemon peel twist.
Serve immediately.

Congratulations to Ginfuse on winning multiple medals in American Distilling Institute Awards. Each of the three signature gins we developed exclusively for them won medals, with the delicious Sunset Naartjie Gin winning Gold, Best in Class International Gin, and Best in Class Signature Botanical Gin (Naartjie 😋!)
