A PIONEER OF GRAIN WHISKY

Haig Whisky is one of Scotland's oldest whisky’s and has a storied history dating back to the 17th century. Dimple blended scotch whisky opens with a nose of toffee and spice, complemented by a slight citrus edge. A splash of water can help to open the aromatics further, enhancing its’ complexity. The flavour is enriched by a notable oak presence, which lends a robust character to the whisky. The finish is warm and smooth, leaving a lingering taste of caramel tinged with oak, which makes for a satisfying end to the tasting experience.

Niel Joubert Estate Wines is located on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, on the outskirts of Paarl in the Western Cape winelands. It is a sizable wine and fruit farm with breath-taking landscapes, hills and dams that are nourished by a natural mountain spring. Erni Leicht, has been the estates’ winemaker and cellar master since 2000, has in-depth knowledge of the vines and their potential. He employs a hands-on approach in the cellar to produce wines that realise their full potential while remaining delicious.
