In 2001 owner Tuanni Price started a wine tasting club with a small group of girlfriends. As the club grew she learned more about wine and developed a passion for it. Over the years she entertained guests in her home, teaching classes about wine tasting and food pairings. In 2010 Tuanni decided to take the knowledge she acquired and love for wine on the road. She launched Zuri Wine Tasting and has been entertaining and bringing people together ever since.

We’re handing over the keys to Tuanni Price for an exclusive takeover with students from Washington and Lee University!
Led by Professors Leslie Wingard Cunningham (Africana Studies) and Connell Cunningham (Chemistry), their project—“From Vines to Voices: The ABC’s of W**e Chemistry & Black Cultural History in South Africa”—bridges hard science with the humanities. Modeled after 19th-century anti-slavery ABC books, it examines how the chemistry of w**e intertw**es with the legacy of slavery in the Cape W**elands.

Looking at these old yacht party photos, I can’t believe how far W**e Over LA has come since that very first packed night at Barsha’s over a decade ago.

In 1692, a freed West African man named Antonie van Angola planted over 4,000 vines in the Jonkershoek Valley in South Africa. He wasn’t just a worker; he was a master viticulturist, a commercial powerhouse, and a landowner. His hands laid the literal foundation for what we know today as the world-class Lanzerac W**e Estate. 🍇👑

Posting because we could use a bit of joy and laughter on a Sunday. In September I hosted a business and lifestyle summit called Afro W**e Week. We put in a lot of hours to produce. The last night of the summit we partied at my favorite lounge. I was excited and I grabbed a bottle of Cap Classique and said “Let me saber it with this ch*****ne glass”. I did it! It worked! I jumped up and down celebrating. Moments later, I noticed moisture from my wrist. I had cut myself, a rather deep cut 3/4 of an inch from my vein. Obv. I survived but in true Tuanni style I was a clumsy hot mess. With the help of Litha we triaged at the bar , (a lotta vodka and some wet paper towels) wrapped it and continued to dance!!!
Such as life feels this very moment!!!
