🍷 Big news: Patio Pours is moving indoors!
It’s getting cold in Chicago, so starting 10/7, every Wednesday from 5-7:30pm, we’re pouring three new w**es in our events space, hand selected by our team.
This week we’re going all in on Italy, selected by Ben, our resident Italian w**e guru:
🤍 Montenidoli “Tradizionale” Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2024 — A Tuscan white made the old way. W**emaker Elisabetta Fagiuoli has fermented it on its skins like a red since 1965, calling Vernaccia “a white grape with the body of a red.”
🍒Tiberio Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo 2024 — A cherry red rosato from one of Abruzzo’s most exciting producers, bursting with red cherry and pomegranate. No need to give up your beloved rosé, this w**e pairs with fall weather.
❤️ Cascina Penna-Currado Dolcetto d’Alba “Bricco Lago” 2024 — Made by Luca Currado Vietti, the w**emaker behind decades of Vietti’s legendary Piedmont w**es, now doing his own thing with his family.
Pours are $10-12, and if you fall for a bottle, take 10% off to bring it home.
See you inside.
