Monks Eleigh Community Shop Monks Eleigh Community Shop, next to The Swan Inn, is a not-for-profit business now run entirely by volunteers. It began in 2003!

We sell a range of essential and useful products and have long opening hours to suit both people who travel outside of the village to work as well as those who
don't.

A 'Farewell to Frank' was made this morning by as many of the volunteers, past & present, who could fit in amongst the goods. All wanted to come and wish him and his wife, Elaine, a very happy move away from Monks Eleigh and to thank him for his years of dedicated support to our Village shop.
Cheerio Frank, with all our love. 💖

Monks Eleigh Community Shop is very proud to announce that two of its fantastic volunteers were presented with
THE MONKS ELEIGH PARISH COUNCIL VILLAGE AWARD.

The certificate reads, 'On behalf of the residents of Monks Eleigh - In acknowledgement of outstanding commitment to and work for the village over many years with our grateful thanks'.

Our shop has been very lucky to be just one of the community commitments they have been so involved with. 🌟🌟🌟
