Before milling begins, we follow a Vietnamese tradition: a small ceremony to pray for luck and prosperity 🙏

Rainy season rhymes with molasses at Distillerie d’Indochine!

We’ve just finished cleaning our column still - molasses rum production starts in a few days✅

✨This still has a story of its own:
- Built in the 1970s
- Originally used to distill Armagnac in the Gers, South of France
Now it distills our molasses rum here on the coast of Vietnam, a beautiful bridge between traditions.

🤔But what’s molasses?
Molasses is a natural by-product of sugarcane, rich and aromatic, bringing its own personality and depth to our rum.

Our molasses rum called Moonson is fresh, tasty, and floral - perfect for your cocktails! 🍹

💡Some new creations at Distillerie d’Indochine!

As you know, we’re passionate about tasting, experimenting, and crafting new rum recipes. To push our creativity even further, we’ve sourced barrels from distilleries and vineyards around the world.🌎

Here you can discover our new 5-year-old rums, aged for four and a half years in cognac barrels, then finished for six months in different second-hand casks:
-Bordeaux red wine
-Plum liqueur
-Sweet white wine from Rivesaltes
-Port wine

Our new 5-year-old expression is deeper, richer, and more flavorful than ever!
Each rum has its own unique personality, yet they all share the same philosophy: showcasing the richness of Vietnamese sugarcane.🎋

🤗Only available at the distillery for now, come taste them! We’re open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Old Fashioned Week has begun! 🥃

Since October 10th, we’re celebrating the timeless classic, with our own tropical twist🌴
At Distillery d’Indochine, we’ve reimagined the Old Fashioned using our 4-year-aged Sampan Rhum (ex-Cognac barrel) ⛵️
The bold sugarcane notes meet the cocktail’s signature bitterness ; perfectly balanced, deeply flavorful.

✨Our version of the Old Fashioned:
5 cl Sampan Rhum
1 sugar cube
3 drops homemade bitters
1 ice
Orange zest

Smooth. Bold. Unexpected. 🫶🏻
