🍯🐝 HONEY, BEES & A LITTLE BIT OF SWEET SCIENCE! 🐝🍯
Did you know honey is one of nature’s most fascinating creations? Here are some sweet facts you might not know!
🐝 1. Bees have FIVE eyes! Two large compound eyes and three tiny eyes on top of their heads help them navigate the world.
🍯 2. Honey can last for thousands of years! When properly stored and protected from moisture, honey can remain preserved for an incredibly long time.
🌼 3. The flavor of honey depends on the flowers! Clover, wildflower, orange blossom, and other plants all produce honey with different colors and flavors.
🐝 4. Worker honeybees are female! They’re responsible for gathering nectar, making honey, caring for young bees, and protecting the hive.
💃 5. Bees actually DANCE to communicate! Honeybees perform a special “waggle dance” to tell other bees where to find food.
