This to***co was named Hoja del Fuego by the Plasencia family.Only 1,000 boxes (that double as a luxury humidor) containing 20 ci**rs were created of this ultra-premium blend, which carries an MSRP of $100 per cigar. Each cigar is housed in a hand-blown glass tube. The Plasencia family drew inspiration for this blend from old indigenous mythology, surrounding the island of Ometepe in Nicaragua.
When two towering volcanos rose from the depths of Lake Nicaragua, the Island of Ometepe was born. Its name is derived from the ancient Nahuatl words “OME” (two) and “TEPETL” (mountain). The early indigenous natives considered Ometepe to be their promised land, and a sacred site that was home to the Gods.
