Cigar of the Week 7/1/2025: West Tampa To***co Co. White Toro

Wrapper: Habano
Filler: Ometepe Seco, Jalapa Seco, Pueblo Nuevo Viso
Binder: Ecuador Habano

This cigar starts out with a nice richness that is accompanied by a very woody profile. With that comes lighter notes of cedar and earth! It’s worth bringing just up how well constructed this cigar is- burning very well! Regardless, there are light spice notes that turn the richness down a bit, but the first third comes to an end with a zesty citrus flavor!
The second third starts to get really really good as a buttery feel joins in. Additionally, a very nutty flavor comes into play. A little bit of coffee comes out too, and pairs extremely well with a developing creaminess! The more earthy characteristics have died down quite a bit, and the richness from the start is coming back to end the second third!
I do enjoy a cigar that changes throughout, and this is definitely one of them! The final third brings out some black pepper, but with that- a very smooth cocoa flavor that is awesome. There are fruity elements that come out, but not like the citrus flavor from the beginning- more of a jam. There is a touch of leather, and though still slightly sweet, a light grassy note comes out to finish off this really tasty stick!
Really enjoyable mild-medium cigar, so come get yours as supplies last!

This cigar starts out with a nice nuttiness and a very nice sweetness that tags along with that! Very seldomly do I experience a cigar that reminds me of when I was [age omitted], and I smoked a full cigar. And though my very first cigar was a Padron- there are some similar, non-specific flavors I’m getting out of it that are making me very nostalgic! That aside, shortly after I notice the sweetness, there are light spices that show up. The first third end with some notes of oak.
The second third gets a little earthier with the aforementioned oaky flavor, but also notes of leather. The spices didn’t last too long in this stick, but they still show up faintly here and there. There are light cedar notes, but out of nowhere, and even though it didn’t stick around too long, notes of maple, which I absolutely love getting out of a cigar! Like I said, the maple does fade quickly, but the sweetness does stick around. As the final third approaches, it gets a little creamy!
Entering the final third, there are notes of coffee that join in. Additionally, there are notes of dried fruit that come out as well! The creaminess gets more and more noticeable, and coca flavors also come into play. Coffee dies down as a really enjoyable caramel flavor shows up. A touch of black pepper tries to come out as well, but is quickly brings back cedar from earlier, which was a really nice ending of this stick!
Absolutely amazing cigar! One that we are thrilled to have in! So, come get yours, as supplies last!

Cigar of the Week 7/18/2025: Arturo Fuente Hemingway Untold Story Maduro

This large Hemingway from Fuente has always been a choice of mine when I’m looking for a cigar to enjoy for a couple hours! This cigar starts out with light-earthy notes, and very light spices. Quickly, the cigar starts to develop as expected notes of raisin come out, and is also become much sweeter. This sweetness brings out a bit of cocoa, and the raisin is already evolving into more of a less-specific dried fruit flavor.
The very end of the first, but more in the second third comes notes of oak. And though its sweetness is dying down a bit, there are very enjoyable notes of vanilla coming through. The oak has morphed into a a rich woody flavor, and a touch of cedar tries to join in. That is almost immediately overtaken by a very prominent nuttiness.
The final third brings out a slight toast flavor, and is back to being quite earthy, with notes of leather. As I continue through this tasty cigar, I notice that the cocoa flavor from before, though still around, is now more a brownie kind of chocolate- very very nice! There is a touch of pepper nearing the end of this cigar, and shortly before putting out, a notice a very satisfying creaminess!
This really is a solid stick, again, especially if you have the time to enjoy! So, come get yours, as supplies last!

Cigar of the Week 7/11/2025: Leaf by Oscar 10th Anniversary Criollo Gordo

Wrapper: Honduran Criollo
Filler: Honduras

This cigar starts out with a noticeable nutty flavor, which I really enjoy. This is accompanied really well by a very slight sweetness that starts to come out. There is a familiar, still sweet, cedar flavor that is quite nice. As I continue smoking this 60 gauge stick, I get notes of raisin. And to finish off the first third, I get a note of watermelon for a solid two puffs- something I don’t recall ever noticing in a cigar before!
The start of the second third becomes much earthier with light notes of oak, and definitely some grassiness. The cigar also seems to be getting sweeter. And there are bits of bakery spices, but definitely nutmeg to finish off the second third.
The final third, though similar to the second, does bring out notes of coffee that is really nice! Leather notes are attempting to make their way out, but they’re not prominent. There are spicy notes that come out right around the halfway point (of the final third). And, to finish off this really tasty cigar, I get a very creamy finish!
This is a really solid stick! One I will be enjoying again very soon, so get yours as supplies last!

Cigar of the Week 6/27/2025: Tatuaje Fausto FT187

Tomorrow is the BIG event! So, I figured it was only appropriate to pick not only a Tatuaje, but a big cigar to go with our party!

This cigar starts out with that awesome Tatuaje earthiness, that also has a nice richness to it right away! With that, comes a good amount of leather. Almost immediately after the leather, a bit of spice joins in. And though the spices don’t last too long, there is a very interesting, bread-like doughy flavor that is really nice.
Getting into the second third of this stick, initially brings out more sweetness, and even a little bit of caramel, but it brings out that spicy flavor. Shortly after that, espresso forward notes come out. There is also a paprika flavor that joins in, that I really enjoy! There are some flavors of cedar coming out nearing the end of the second third.
The final third has the most richness at this point, as notes of chocolate come out. There are also notes of coffee joining in, at this point. There is also a slightly nutty taste that comes out. There is also a good amount of pepper that joins in now. I must add, I don’t smoke a lot of ci**rs this size- but I like to switch it up, and this really has been an enjoyable cigar! One that if you have some time, I highly recommend! Come get yours, as supplies last, and we hope to see you all tomorrow at the Tatuaje/ 3 Year event!
