Talk about a perfect pairing! This is Chloe, our invaluable Accounts Receivable guru. Once a week the warehouse team & office team have lunch together. Chloe, having taken on the role of organizing where they order from, has affectionately become known as "The Cru Lunch Lady". Today, she leaned into the role, coming to work in costume. (Or maybe we should say, in uniform). Coincidentally, the warehouse team created this awesome spin wheel to help them decide what to order each week. To quote the immortal "Hannibal" Smith, the iconic leader of the A-Team, "I love it when a plan comes together."

She's here with some tips to make Halloween a little happier for wine lovers everywhere. You should listen to her! We certainly do. 🎃 🎃

Congratulations to our friends Bayleaf on Whidbey Island for their successful Fall Tasting event last weekend. It was definitely the place to be! Both the atmosphere and the wines were on point. What a great way to celebrate fall!

Food & Wine pairings can be hard. But some pairing go together so easily, it doesn't take any thought at all. With fall in full swing, our social gatherings have moved indoors. Charcuterie boards come out and bold red wines emerge from their summer slumber. Few wines pair better with charcuterie than Syrah. Make your life easy! Swing by a nearby vending machine for some charcuterie supplies, grab a bottle of Syrah to go with it & you're done.

Grenache ("Garnacha", in Spain) originated in the Aragon region in the north of Spain, but now is the world's 7th most-planted varietal. The vine is strong, which makes it resistant to wind and even drought. Perfect for planting in vineyards impacted by the mistral winds in the southern Rhône, or even on the top of Red Mountain here in Washington State. The palate should show red fruit flavors with hints of white pepper. Pair it with well-seasoned roasted meats, stews, stronger cheeses, or some classic Indian cuisine.
