Don’t forget to come and see the splitting of Mountain Parmesan Reggiano this Friday June 5th. Here are some fun facts about this AMAZING cheese:
Comes from the mountain pastures in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emillia, Modena and bologna 1600-3000 ft above sea level.
It’s aged for almost 36 months.
The taste is different from regular Reggiano, due to the mountain air and the grasses the cows graze on.
