One of the Tenets of a good Wine Club should always be to Look Beyond Cab and Chard. Our Main Red for June is a perfect example of this: a small winery (howdy and thanks for the deliciousness!) that exquisitely crafts lesser-known varietals (hello Grenache!) from a series of old vineyards along the Central Coast of California. Lovely layers of wild strawberries, blueberries, green tea, jasmine, roses, and allspice make for a wine they call “both high and low brow” Does your Wine Club do that?
