Last night at 9:00 pm we experienced attempted  break in at the shop. I want to thank the hard working men and women from theDelaware State Policee for their fast response time and thorough investigation.

When I arrived at the shop to respond to the alarm alert I could see it was clear someone was trying to get into the building. Not knowing if they had gained entry or not I called 911 and within a few minutes several officers were on site. They quickly and professionally searched the building and after their search we were able to confirm with security footage that the suspect was not inside. I’ve always said the best neighbors a local liquor store can have is a state police station!
