PFSbrands is the parent company of the food brands that we offer at ODCS: Champs Chicken®, BluTaco®, and Hangar 54 Pizza®.
Earlier in the week, Bret was invited to attend the “2026 Gritt Summit” held by PFS in Missouri. He was told that the store had been nominated for “Rookie of the year”! 🎖️
What an honor, to recognize all the hard work that our team has put forth in order to make our “deli” successful.
As Bret sat at the ceremony, that particular award was one of the first to be announced; we didn’t win. He was perfectly OK with that, because it was very much amazing to even be nominated!!
Well…. As the event went on, there were several more awards presented and, as he told me, he heard “Open Door…” and thought, “Wow, someone else named their store “Open Door” 😁 As he looked towards the screen he saw our awesome logo (Thank you again, Bruce Ward)! We were recognized as the “Franchise of Distinction” for the whole Southeast Region of the country!! Which, he was told, is the highest honor of recognition!! 🏆
WOW… we can’t thank our team enough, and certainly can’t thank YOU, our community, enough for enabling this to happen!!
This award belongs to our hard working TEAM and YOU, our customers/ODCS family!
