In 1986 these two embarked on a future as blurry as this picture. From Philly to Waits River, VT to Arlington, VT, and now Rock Hill, SC. Thirty-seven years of better and worse. What a long strange trip it has been. Could not have done it without Donna at my side.

Just read in the JO that Mark Johnson will be relinquishing stewardship of the Bliss Village Store & Deli in Bradford in mid-June. Mark has served his community for 22 years in the best tradition of storekeepers. We congratulate Mark on his success and wish him all the best as he starts the next adventure. Mad respect for all he's done.

Hard to imagine that 32 years ago today we started to travel north to Vermont to start our lives in Vermont. Closed on the deal on Easter Monday and officially opened for business on Tuesday. 32 years is a long time to pass in the blink of an eye. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your community.

Just learned that my friend and colleague, John Dumais of the New Hampshire Grocers' Association will be retiring by the end of the year. John was a huge asset to our community and served the NHGA since 1974. Here he is in 2001 presenting me with the Spirit of America award from the National Grocers Association.

Harold Edwin Osmer Sr. passed away October 18th, 2021 at Frances Atkinson Residence For The Retired Home in Newbury, VT surrounded by his loving family. Harold was one of six children, born to Harold and Edith Osmer in Chelsea, VT on March 24, 1943. Harold grew up up in West
