Ashton released the Revelation in 2013, which is the third in the line and the newest in the series. These ci**rs use Ecuadoran Sumatra-seed wrappers picked from the middle of the plant, giving them a lighter color. The Padrón Family Reserve No. 45 Maduro—unofficially dubbed “The Hammer”—is a reimagined version of the legendary Padrón Family Reserve. Traditionally, this cigar was only obtainable as a personal gift from José Padrón himself—or perhaps a member of the extended family, though that remains unconfirmed. The No. 45 was created to commemorate 45 years of Padrón's dedication to the cigar industry.
From the moment you pick it up, the cigar makes an impression. The reddish, chocolate-brown wrapper is toothy and rugged, with a bold aroma of chocolate and cinnamon. True to the Padrón profile, the construction is firm—almost rock solid—signaling its premium craftsmanship.

Designed as a tribute to the Perez-Carrillo family's century-long legacy in cigar making, the Encore Black showcases the brand’s dedication to quality, tradition, and innovation.

What sets the Encore Black apart is its dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, which undergoes 18 months of fermentation followed by three years of aging, resulting in a deep, rich character. The cigar features a Mexican San Andrés binder, adding complexity, while the Nicaraguan filler blend from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa enhances its depth and strength. This 6 1/2 x 54 Gran Toro showcases a meticulously aged blend, featuring a 10-year-aged Mexican wrapper, a 15-year-aged Nicaraguan binder, and a rich filler blend sourced from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

With only 5,000 boxes produced—3,500 allocated for the U.S.—this cigar is exceptionally rare.
