On July 1st, 2026, the Town of West Liberty is honored to be a part of the Relay for America, a cross-country running event destined for Washington D.C., arriving on July 4th to commemorate the nation's 250th anniversary. The Relay for America, who aims to unite America one mile at a time, has extended an invitation to Mayor Graham to join the procession on foot through town, Escorted by the West Liberty Police Department. The event is expected to take place between 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM, and the community is encouraged to participate and observe.

Save the date!

March 7th, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Chief Fowler of the West Liberty Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a free public training session, located at the West Liberty Vol Fire Department (1333 Van Meter Way, West Liberty, WV 26074) providing CPR and AED training. This training is particularly valuable for our smaller community, where such knowledge can be crucial in emergency situations until First Responders arrive on scene.

The Town Of West Liberty ask that you join us on March 7th, 2026, at 4:00PM to help make our community stronger and safer.

All out of Town residence will be charged a $10 fee to attend This training.
