As the owner of my business, Circle A Liquor, I want to share with you the events my security guards find degrading, especially when they're done in front of their own children. What lessons they teach and what future they're teaching them. If I see such need in my customers, I can understand, and I consider that we've been considered when they can't pay for everything. It's not easy for us either; every single thing I have in my store costs me money, and I pay every last penny in taxes. This mother came to my store, grabbed an ice popsicle for her daughter, and a bag of chips for herself. She waited for a while at the “quarters” machine, jamming it with pennies. She just did the wrong thing by jamming it making time and waiting to make her move. She pushed her daughter out the door and left without paying. The girl didn't want to leave with the ice popsicle so, she insisted on giving it to her mother, and she constantly looked at her, saying things to the girl. Just you could see the scared little face. But the most confusing thing came in a nearly new car: how could she not even have the money to buy her daughter a popsicle and set a good example? God help those of parents with that kind of morality 🥲.
