In an effort to try to get as many of the repairs completed on our building prior to Memorial weekend Skoolhouse Variety will be closed on Wednesday the 20th. Electrical/carpentry/plumbing & Heating/new Flooring. We will open normal hours starting The 21st. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will get the remainder of the work done as quickly as possible.

Skoolhouse Variety immediate job opening.

Position: Part time Kitchen Staff (21+hrs Weekly)

Morning/Evening/Rotating shifts.

Position responsible for stocking, preparing, and cooking Skoolhouse menu items.
Position requires use of ovens, fryer, stove, slicer, and automatic toaster.
Kitchen experience not required but must be willing to learn.
Position also responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times as well as the dining room.
Additional cleaning requirements apply if opening or closing.

Last November Skoolhouse Variety was struck by a pickup truck and sustained brick/block damage to the front of the building on the convenience side of the store.
With winter now over and the temperatures warming up it is now time to make the repairs.
Starting next week, the 22nd of April, our dining room will be closed for dine in. We will be providing TAKE-OUT ONLY.
The Convenience Store products and shelving will be relocated into the dining room with retail cash out also being conducted from that side as well.
We are hoping for an approximate completion date near the end of May.
Sorry for any inconvenience. We will get the repairs completed as soon as possible and get the dining room opened back up for summer.
