Slatestone has always been a safe family oriented business. Unfortunately today 2 young men on foot chased another individual down and shot him beside the store. We are deeply sadden by this event.

I am thankful to report all customers, employees and our family are safe. Please say a pray for the family of the man that passed away.

Sadly Angela that worked in the grill for many years has gained her angel wings. We considered her to be part of our family. Angela was a hard working, dedicated and a lovable person. We pray she is rejoicing in Heaven.

Each year we miss “our“ kids that we have watched grow up to become young adults and graduate. There will always be a cheese biscuit and sweet tea waiting for your visits back home. This year holds a special place in our hearts because our first born will be part of this group.
