Our Fall Seasonal Six Pack is now live! Tonight from 4-7 is the tasting that kicks off the best time of the year, even if it is still just around the corner. Six wines chosen to accompany the end of Summer and the onset of Autumn, all open tonight for you to experience! Tonight is a very special Feature Tasting at Wardman Wines. From 4-7 this evening we will be hosting James Beard Award Winner Lee Campbell on the Tasting Bar to showcase several of her stellar wines from Common Wealth Crush Co. . Lee is a very talented winemaker and a visionary in recognizing and nurturing young winemakers in the never ending task of ensuring that the next generation is more inclusive and collaborative than the last.

We have four of Lee’s wines on the bar tonight from 4-7pm. Stop in, say hi, have a taste, and learn something new about the world of Virginia wines!!

This afternoon until 6pm, Ian Wolf of Red Wolf Imports and Electric Highway is on the Tasting Bar with Johnny Lopez of Global Wines MD with two exciting new RTD cocktails and a sampling of some of the wine and spirits that Red Wolf Imports. Stop in for a White Tawny Port Spritz that Eric whipped up!

We hope the end of June is treating you all well! It’s full on Rosé season out there, and we are winding up phase one of our annual rosé feature with the drawing next Thursday for a 3L Jeroboam of San Salvatore 1988 Wines Vetere Rosato! We have two Jeroboams and a Magnum to give away, and are down to about a case of the regular bottles, so get your tickets in the big bottle for your chance to win!

In phase two, we will focus more on the ROSE GOLD from Provence. Stay tuned for more details there.

Very special night at Wardman Wines tonight, as we have two very talented winemakers visiting and is the Tasting Bar! and Riccardo from are here and ready to share their special wines with you.

Diletta Tonello is known for her work with sparkling wines from the Durello grape in the Veneto. Riccardo has been recognized as one of the most talented young winemakers in Italy for his work with Verdicchio in Le Marche. We are honored to have them visiting us, and we are excited for all of you who have been enjoying their wines for the last few years to have a chance at meeting the people behind the wine!

Riccardo and Diletta will be here until 7 tonight, so brave the rain and share in the excitement!

Tonight’s Friday Tasting is the release of our Grilling Seasonal Six Pack! This is the only time all of these wines will be open at once, so brave the rain and stop in this evening from 4-7 for a free tasting of what we’ve chosen to herald the official beginning of grilling season! We’ve got a sparkling wine from the Loire Valley, a juicy and spicy rosé from Spain, a delightfully balanced Moscato d’Asti, Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley, a fresh and earthy Bobal/Cab blend from Spain, and a very satisfying and versatile Tuscan red that will smash it at cookouts this summer.

Memorial Day weekend is always special. Before we embark on gGrilling Season for the year, we’d like to take a moment to say a quick but sincere Thank You and raise our glasses to all who have fallen in Service.

Had a wonderful visit today from Tommaso of who brought Giando from and a delicious lineup of wine from Sardinia. At this point in my career, it’s getting rarer and rarer when I come across a grape variety for the first time. Pala’s Nuragas and Bovale made incredible first impressions. Thanks again, gentlemen!
