I want to thank every single one of you for the support over the past couple of years. Something really special happened with this place… and it only worked because all of us built it together. The laughs, the stories, the mornings, the chaos, the memories — every bit of it mattered.
This place became more than a business. It became a gathering spot, a comfort place, and a whole lot of memories wrapped into one.

Rehired Tico for another season at Wake N Lake…
Re-Meet Tico the cockatoo.
Pros:
✔️ Excellent eye contact
✔️ Strong vocal presence (you WILL be greeted)
✔️ Not afraid to repeat himself… over and over… and over again
Cons:
✖️ May scream if ignored
✖️ Tried to eat the application (again)
✖️ Asked for payment in unshelled walnuts only (non-negotiable)
Overall, great energy. Still needs to work on the indoor voice… but honestly, same.
If you stop by and hear someone yelling… just know Tico is back and taking his job very seriously.

There will be two things we take outta the store..
No beer this season. ..And let’s be honest… it was never sold cold anyway
And no lotto —
between it not making sense profit-wise and me squinting like I’m solving a crime scene trying to read those tiny numbers every time they wouldn’t scan… we’re out
But don’t worry — we’ve still got everything else.
