Today is Thursday. First off, an update on my husband. He is doing much better, not 100% yet, but MUCH better. He feels good enough, that I can work tonight (YAYYYYY). Second, I want to thank all of my customers for their patience, understanding, and prayers/well wishes for my husband. It means so much to us both for your concerns. Third, I'd like to thank the fire department for helping with clearing some of my parking lot, being there to support us both, and constantly checking on my husband. Fourth, I'd like to thank my incredible coworkers for going above and beyond with working extra hours, doing anything I asked. AND FINALLY, to Deb Bosley and Tony Embree for making arrangements to clear off both parking lots, to the friends and family offering to help at home or work, offering to bring food, to stay with my husband if I needed to be gone for stuff, etc. I know this is a LONG post, but I just had to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Today is Tuesday. My INCREDIBLE coworkers believe they can get out and run the store for me today. So the store WILL BE OPEN TODAY! My husband is pretty much the same, in pain and sick to his stomach. We believe it's related to his cancer, as he has been tested for covid/rsv/influenza A/strep, and all came back negative. I am continuing to stay with him for whatever he needs. I will apologize that my parking lot has not been cleared, as my husband always used to do it, and obviously he can't right now. So please be careful in the parking lot. Thank you for all the prayers and kind words, it means a lot to us.

I'm so sorry. I forgot to thank you all for the well wishes and prayers for my husband. I'm so tired, I'm running on "auto pilot", so to speak. Please know you all are very much appreciated in your care. Stay safe out there.

Ok everyone. It's Monday January 26th. If you follow my business page, then you know how sick my husband has been. He is still extremely sick, and in pain from his cancer. My coworkers can't safely get out to work, and I am still not comfortable leaving my husband. That being said, I am NOT opening my store today. As always, family safety comes first. And my coworkers are also family. We are taking this day by day. We will TRY to open tomorrow, Tuesday, because we do have deliveries coming in. Please understand this is not an easy decision to make. But I have to do what's best for my family. Thank you.

Hello everyone. It's been a long night. For those who don't know, my husband has Stage 4 cancer. He's had it for 3 years. So far, it's been manageable, but for the last week, it has been rough. And last night/ this morning has been the worst I've ever seen him. He is in excruciating pain and getting sick to his stomach. He does not have a virus (he's been checked). The point of this post is to let you know I WILL NOT open the store today (Sunday). I don't feel comfortable leaving him like this. I've always said family will come first. Please understand. Also, the roads aren't good. No one should be out unless it's an emergency. We will see what tomorrow brings. Thank you.
