We’re looking for a creative, hands on marketer to manage our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat accounts across multiple co op, fuel, and convenience retail locations.
What you’ll do: ✅ Create engaging posts, reels, and short form videos
✅ Promote fuel deals, store specials, and community events
✅ Manage day to day social media posting and engagement
✅ Track performance and help grow our online presence
What we’re looking for: ✔ Social media experience (especially Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat)
✔ Creative, organized, and comfortable capturing content in store or in the field
✔ Retail, convenience, or co op experience a plus

As part of our continued growth and commitment to serving our members and community, we have recently made the decision to rebrand. Moving forward, we will be doing business as Lakeland Energy Cooperative.

This change better reflects who we are today and helps clearly identify the growth we’ve experienced—and the growth we see ahead. While our name is evolving, our mission, values, and commitment to reliable, member‑focused energy services remain the same.

Our fantastic team is ready and waiting to welcome you tomorrow morning. While the temperature outside may be cold, you can count on our coffee being hot! 🔥

🎉 Exciting News from Our Waskish Location!

We're thrilled to share that we have made progress and opened up our gas and fuel dispensers! For now, it will only be available for 24/7 pay at the pump using your credit card until the store is open to in-store transactions! Plus, our valued cooperative members can now use their local charge cards at the pump in both Warroad and Waskish! ⛽️

Currently, we offer 87 Oxy and a premium winter blend of clear diesel, comprised of 70% #1 and 30% #2. ❄️

While we've made significant progress getting the inside of our store ready, it’s not ready just yet. But don’t worry—we can’t wait to welcome you soon! Stay tuned for more updates!

Big News! We’re thrilled to announce the purchase of the C-Store in Waskish! We’re excited to join the Waskish community and the greater Red Lake area while continuing to offer the same Farmers Union Oil Company services that have been trusted for nearly 100 years.
Our cooperative commitment remains strong—we’re excited to bring locally owned services to the community, including bulk propane, bulk fuel, and all your C-store needs. This is more than a business move; it’s about becoming part of the community and making a real difference.

We had a great turn out for our Co-op Day celebration. Thank you to everyone who attended and joined us for lunch, prizes, conversations, and to the 62 and 72 year old cooperative members who stopped to receive their equity retirement checks. In total, your cooperative retired nearly $100,000 to cooperative owners on Wednesday and Albert Albrecht was the happy recipient of this year’s largest equity retirement check as Albert has been a valued cooperative member/owner for many years. We appreciate the patronage and partnerships of all cooperative members and it continues to pay to be a part of the local cooperative.
