Not all kegs are the same size — and picking the wrong one means either running dry too early or hauling home way more b**r than you needed. Here's the real breakdown:

- 1/6 Keg — roughly 5.5 gallons, about 55 pints. The most compact option, easiest to handle and store.
- 1/4 Keg (Pony Keg) — roughly 7.75 gallons, about 82 pints. The middle ground — more volume without the bulk of a full-size keg.
- 1/2 Keg (Full Size) — roughly 15.5 gallons, about 165 pints. Standard bar-size keg, for when you need serious volume.
