🎉 We're Celebrating 5 Years – and a Big Move! 🎉
Today marks our 5-year anniversary – and we want to celebrate with you! First drink is on us!
As we look forward to an exciting new chapter, we’ll be closing our current location on or before July 31st as we prepare for a move to our new, larger space at 1743 Route 206. Until then, we’re clearing out inventory, so now is the perfect time to stock up on your favorites and enjoy new sales launching daily!
🏠What’s Next: Bigger, Better, and Built for You
Our new location will offer a larger space, an expanded cold box, and enhanced amenities that weren’t possible at Red Lion Plaza — including an outdoor area and extended hours so you can catch the game and not worry about overtime. Let us know what you would like to see in our expanded selection!
🛠️ Why We’re Moving: The Full Story
Back in October 2019, we purchased what appeared to be a suitable property to relocate and grow our business. However, the process became unexpectedly complicated. The Pinelands Commission required a zoning change and, subsequently, an advanced water treatment system — a highly specialized requirement. First we have to deal with the inherited violations on the property, which are almost resolved. Despite our determination, the delay in approvals caused us to mismanage our lease terms.
Unfortunately, the property owner opted not to renew our lease, citing personal reasons. Throughout our time at Red Lion Plaza, we experienced multiple property issues — from damaged power lines and electrical outages to termite damage worries, leaking gutters, numerous deadly accidents and road closures, and unsafe conditions like birds nesting in light fixtures and wintertime ice hazards. I have complety forgotten where the handicap parking is. These issues not only impacted our daily operations but also created safety concerns for staff and customers alike, and most still persist til this day. Someday, I hope to see the Red Lion Plaza sign fully lit — but I know now it may only be in passing. Contractually, we may have been agreed to “quiet enjoyment” — but what we experienced instead was ongoing negligence. Often it felt like the attitude was: can’t see it from my house.
❤️ Thank You for Your Support
While the road has been and will be challenging, we’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead — and we’re grateful to all of you who have supported us along the way. Our new home on Route 206 is designed with you in mind, and we can’t wait to welcome you there soon.
Stay tuned for updates, and we hope to see you during our clearance events through July 31st!
