EXCITING NEWS!

Next month, rumble strips will be installed at the intersection of 190th (County Road 62) and Goodwin (County Road 86)!

Finding a solution to make this intersection safer, while dealing with political red tape and potential risk/litigation from a court case related to rumble strips in populated areas, has been one of my biggest battles and challenges over the past decade.

This spring, a noise study was done around the intersection that determined noise levels would be under the limit with a newer design of rumble strips. Crews will be doing the work in August and if this is successful, this design could be seen at other rural county intersections.

Due to inclement weather, the Food Truck is closed for the day. They will resume operations next Wednesday, the 30th, and every other Wednesday thereafter.
