Thanks everyone for all the prayers. Here is an update on Ed. He had another medical issue that developed that caused the surgeon to cancel the thyroid surgery. He has been at Dr. appointments all week. We have a MRI today in Erie. As soon as we get this new complication fixed the thyroid surgery will be rescheduled.

As a reminder, we will reopen tomorrow at 8 AM.

Ed is having the rest of his thyroid out on Tuesday, April 21st so we will be closed that day and also Wednesday, April 22nd. We will reopen at 8 AM on Thursday, April 23rd.

Once again, we are hearing rumors that we are closing soon. Maybe in a few years when we retire, but as of now we are still open with a full menu plus we are still making our smoked meats and cheese.

As a reminder, our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

We no longer have a website at smithscountrystore.net. The cost of maintaining it did not justify the amount of traffic it got, so we gave up the domain a while ago. This domain has been bought out by somebody else and is being used to redirect to spam and potentially dangerous websites and is not reflective of our store. So, do not go to this site, Facebook is the only presence we currently have online.
