JB’S Mini Mart

💙 OCTOBER 2ND — WE’RE OPENING THE DOORS BACK UP!

We miss our space. We miss seeing our people. And we’re so excited to welcome our community back into JB’s Mini Mart! 🥹💙

This season has been about trusting the process, staying consistent, and working our butts off to keep moving forward. 😂🙌🏾 We’re not trying to make everything perfect or come back as something completely different. We’re simply being intentional with what we have and staying aligned with where God is leading us.

And He keeps reminding us to STAY.
Stay in the community. Stay consistent. Stay moving forward. Stay committed to what we started.

So, we’re coming back. 💙

Same little JB’s. More intention. More consistency. And a whole lot of gratitude.

📅 Doors open October 2, 2026!

New days and hours will be posted soon. Until then, help us spread the word — tell somebody JB’S IS COMING BACK! 🫶🏾

💜 STAY; Your Story Is NOT Over. 💜

September is Su***de Prevention Month, and even though the doors at JB’s Mini Mart aren’t open right now, our love for our community hasn’t gone anywhere. 💜

If you’re struggling and need someone to talk to, someone to sit with you, a hug, or simply a moment where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay — reach out.

Our doors may be closed right now, but we will make the drive if someone in our community needs us. 🙏🏾

No judgment. No shame. Sometimes we just need somebody to remind us that we’re not alone.

Please STAY. Your life matters. You matter. And your story is NOT over. ❤️

‼️ If you or someone you know is in crisis or needs immediate support, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline for free, confidential support 24/7.

Hey neighbors! 💙

We originally planned to reopen September 4th, but we’ve decided to give ourselves more time to continue building our inventory. October will be our goal, but more importantly, we want to make sure when we reopen, we’re truly ready to stay open.

Building something with your own hands and without taking on consumer debt isn’t easy. We don’t have credit card companies, investors, or banks funding this journey. JB’s is being built by us, one purchase, one shelf, and one step at a time. That may mean moving slower, but we’d rather do that than rush to open with the bare minimum and find ourselves having to close again.

Our GoFundMe is still up, and while we hoped to raise more, we are incredibly grateful for every donation, share, piece of advice, and person who has checked in on us. 💙

We aren’t done! We’re simply taking the time to build this the right way so that when those doors open again, we can keep moving forward.

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” — Hebrews 12:1 🙏🏾

We’re still running—just at the pace this season requires.

Community!! If I can grab some I will post that they are available at the store.

Every donation, no matter the amount, has touched our hearts. ❤️

It’s never been about how much was given—it’s about the heart and sacrifice behind it. Thank you for believing in us, praying for us, sharing our story, and reminding us what true community looks like. We are beyond grateful.

Several people have reached out privately asking how they could help, and one suggestion that kept coming up was starting a GoFundMe.

As an extremely private person, this wasn’t a decision I made lightly. After a lot of prayer, deep breaths, and choosing to be vulnerable, I decided to say yes.

If you’d like to be part of helping us build the next chapter of JB’s Mini Mart, we’ve created a fundraiser. Whether you donate, share, pray, or simply shop with us when we reopen, we’re truly grateful for your support. ❤️

We’ll also be doing a few more fundraisers before August 1, so stay tuned! Sometimes we all need an extra helping hand, and that’s okay too.

To everyone who has checked on us, prayed for us, shared our posts, or stopped by JB’s Mini Mart—thank you. ❤️

We want everyone to know that JB’s Mini Mart is NOT closing. Our story isn’t complete just yet.

We’ve taken a little extra time beyond our planned week break to work through some things behind the scenes so we can come back stronger. When your business is run by a party of two, sometimes you have to slow down, regroup, and make the best decisions for the future. That’s exactly what we’re doing.

When we reopen, we’ll have:
🌭 A brand-new hot food option we’re excited to share.
🛍️ Plans for a late summer/fall community market with local vendors.
💙 The same commitment to serving our community.

This season has stretched us, but it hasn’t stopped us.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

We’re excited for what’s ahead, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back soon. Thank you for sticking with us. The best chapters of our story are still being written.
