We’re pretty excited about this one. Our Peerless Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Liquorama Barrel Pick has officially landed — and if you’re a fan of big, rich, sweeter bourbons, you need to try this.

Coming in at 108.4 proof, this barrel is an absolute CHERRY COLA BOMB. 🍒🥤 The cherry character jumps out immediately and carries all the way through the finish.

🥃 Tasting Notes:
Nose: Big dark cherry and cherry syrup right away, followed by vanilla, caramelized brown sugar and that unmistakable cola spice. Let it sit for a few minutes and you start getting hints of orange peel, cinnamon and toasted oak.

Palate: This is where the cherry cola really takes over. 🍒 Sweet cherry syrup, caramel and brown sugar up front with vanilla and a little dark chocolate underneath. Cinnamon, clove and baking spice come through on the back half and balance out all that sweetness. Rich, coating mouthfeel with plenty of flavor at 108.4 proof.

Finish: Long, warm and sweet with lingering cherry, cola, caramel and vanilla before fading into toasted oak and baking spice. The cherry just seems to hang around after every sip.

If you like those dark fruit / Cherry Coke-style bourbon profiles, this barrel is right in the wheelhouse. Peerless Single Barrel picks can show some seriously pronounced cherry-cola character, and this one is a perfect example.
