Still thinking about this tasting… 🍷
The Biondi-Santi 2019 Brunello di Montalcino was hands-down my favorite. Elegant yet structured, with notes of red cherry, cranberry, and rose petal layered with to***co, dried herbs, and subtle earth. Fresh acidity, silky tannins, and incredible balance: classic, age-worthy, and already so expressive.
This is Brunello at its purest.

A beautiful afternoon tasting Billecart-Salmon and Château Malherbe at Pastis Miami and the standout for the team was the 2012 Nicolas François Billecart.
Opulent yet precise, it showed fine, persistent bubbles, layers of lemon curd, brioche, white peach, toasted hazelnut, chalky minerality, and a long, saline finish. A stunning balance of maturity and tension. 🥂✨
