Today we’ve got something new for our budget smokers! CAO has just launched the new Surplus lines which start at just over $3 per cigar. If you need some smokes that won’t break the bank but still offer solid construction and flavor, look no further.

Each blend utilizes a different wrapper along with an Ecuadorian Sumatra seed binder and Dominican Olor fillers. There is a San Andres Maduro, Honduran Connecticut seed and a sweet capped Ecuadorian Sumatra seed version. Each blend comes in a 5x50 robusto, 6x50 toro and 6x60 gigante. Available in singles as well as bundles.

We got a re-stock today on some popular Villiger blends - Cuellar Kreme and the 1888 Nicaragua (now in a 6x60!).

Also something brand new to our shelves! The La Capitana is a mellow-medium blend that comes from Villger’s Nicaragua factory. While the super smooth Kreme uses all Dominican binders and fillers, the La Capitana uses a Nicaraguan binder plus some Nicaraguan filler which gives this cigar more earthiness and soft pepper notes. Choon gave the cigar two thumbs up when she tried a sample a while back :). We’ve also got them on an intro deal which makes it even easier to try!

Tim's Pick Of The Week 08/05:

Matilde Serena Maduro robusto.

For a cigar on the mild side when it comes to strength, it has a surprising amount of rich Maduro flavor. Featuring a San Andres Maduro wrapper, Dominican Criollo 98 binder, and long fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, it is wonderfully complex. There is a natural sweetness, with distinct notes of dark chocolate, leather, earth, with some nut flavors mixed in. Great cigar to begin your day with. -Tim.

What an exciting day at the Horsepower Cigar Lounge yesterday. Thank you Scott Hall and family for bringing the race car to the lounge and letting me start it up and making some noise. Can't wait to see the car go down the track soon!

What a great night at Horsepower Cigar Lounge!! We rolled out the brand new Cohiba Rubicon and CAO Stokk ci**rs (both of which are killer!). Mark Lagace from General Ci**rs is always a blast to hang out with. If you’re looking for cigar knowledge, he certainly has plenty of it. We also had Chef Shawn cooking some burgers and dogs.

And we had a secret partnership that was unveiled last night! Our friends Scott Hall, Sandy Hall and Richard Hall brought over their new rear engine dragster that is being sponsored by Horsepower Cigar Lounge! The sights, sounds and smells of a race car that will be going 220+ MPH in a couple weeks. Scott and Paul have been friends for a couple decades and have helped each other with their various race cars. This marks the start of the latest collaboration with the entire Hall family.

Always something fun going on at the lounge!

Early access to another brand new cigar!!

We love to be able to give our Horsepower friends access to so many new and limited ci**rs. This is the latest cigar to come out of the CAO Arcana series which has already brought us some fantastic smokes - Mortal Coil, Firewalker, Thunder Smoke. Now we have the Stokk!!

This cigar is truly unique as it is a collaboration between CAO and Danish pipe to***co maker Peter Stokkebye. The only down side is the limited availability of this cigar.

Starting with a US Broadleaf wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder already sounds tasty. But the real fun lies in the fillers. The first half features dark, earthy Dominican Andullo-aged to***co (yes a similar type from the Mortal Coil). Halfway through the cigar the fillers change over to Stokkebye fire-cured Cyprian Latkia pipe to***co. Throughout the fillers are also some unnamed Honduran to***cos to perfectly balance the desired and masterfully manipulated flavor profiles.

This cigar is all about pushing innovations with unique to***cos and collaborations between two long standing brands. Really excited to try these out!

Be among the first to smoke the brand new Cohiba Rubicon!! It’ll be hitting the shelves next week across the country but here at Horsepower Cigar Lounge we’ve got the hookups! This cigar certainly smokes above its price point especially since these are on the shelf starting under $10 per stick. These will be available starting at 5pm today as we start our General Ci**rs event.

Blend-wise, the Rubicon uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over an American broadleaf binder and four fillers: Dominican piloto, Honduran to***cos from La Entrada and the Jamastran Valley, and Nicaraguan to***co from Estelí. Rubicon is made at STG Danlí, the same factory that makes the Cohiba Royale.

Take a look at these beauties! The Limited Cigar Association drops for this month sound like guaranteed winners. Very limited quantities.

Each version of the Cigarface series has been well received and we expect this one to continue that trend.

The Rojas Privada Reserva. Made by Rojas so not much more to say on that! We know his ci**rs have excellent construction and flavor profiles.

Tomorrow! Friday 8/1/25 the festivities will be happening! Killer cigar deals, new releases, great raffle prizes, swag. Plus Cheffing it Up: Catering by Shawn will be back to cook some burgers and dogs for our guests form roughly 5-7pm.

Also, there is a surprise happening tomorrow. Very few people know what it is and it will get the adrenaline flowing!
