Our five Old buildings have stories, and the 1930s car garage has a modern twist. When i bought the store I named it ‘W***y Earl’s Grill’ after Bill Lobeck. Bill passed away this year and his 86th birthday would have been today. I worked for Bill over 15 years while he was a CEO in the Travel, Automotive, Car Rental Industries, and a major car collector. Bill and his wife Kathy Taylor of Tulsa, said yes to helping finance the store when I bought it. When describing why i wanted to buy it and said “it must sound crazy”, they said “not at all, it sounds like you and your destiny.” To have long time friends who know and believe in you is why I’m here and why the store is healthy and strong, so next time you drive by, give W***y Earl’s Grill a honk as a thankyou.
