NEW. The Beldi glasses from Morocco are in store..
If you’ve traveled in Morocco, chances are you’ve sipped mint tea from a Beldi glass. Beldi means “traditional” or “native” in Arabic. The glasses were first produced in 1946, and since then, the Beldi glass has become the preferred tea glass in Morocco for enjoying mint tea.
Beldi glasses are made using traditional methods. Each one is mouth-blown from recycled wine and beer bottles. Durable and full of character, they often feature small bubbles and subtle imperfections that give them their distinctive, appearance.
One of the glass’s signature features is the small ridge just above its midpoint, which provides a secure grip even when the contents are hot. While traditionally used for tea, Beldi glasses are equally suited for serving cold beverages.
We carry the Beldi glasses in amber, available in sets of six and presented in traditional Moroccan gift packaging. We also carry the matching Amber Beldi Jug.

Two fearless voices on s*x, desire, and truth-telling come together for an intimate and unapologetically candid afternoon in Tin Town.
Stephanie Theobald, whose road trip memoir Sex Drive was described by The Guardian as “Thelma & Louise meets Eat, Pray”, and Rachel Resnick, author of the cult memoir Love Ju**ie, will be in conversation with British writer and journalist
Together, they will explore the power of confession on the page, the last remaining taboos around female desire and the importance of women speaking openly—and truthfully—about pleasure
Expect a lively, intimate exchange blending literature, personal experience, and a touch of irreverence—including a round of “solo-s*x bingo.”

About Stephanie Theobald
A British author, journalist, and broadcaster, Stephanie Theobald is known for her playful and thoughtful work around s*xuality and alternative feminism. A former senior editor at Harper’s Bazaar UK, she writes for The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveller, and contributes to BBC programming.
Her memoir Sex Drive has been widely praised, with Emma Thompson calling it “inspiring… read it and quiver.”
For the past six years, Stephanie has been living in the California high desert—three of them spent in a cave at Boulder Gardens Sanctuary in Pioneertown. She is currently working on a new non-fiction novel inspired by this experience.
About Rachel Resnick
Rachel Resnick is a Los Angeles Times bestselling author, transformational coach, and founder of Writers On Fire, a series of writing workshops and retreats based in Twentynine Palms / Joshua Tree.
Known for Love Ju**ie and Go West Young Fcked-Up Chick*, she mentors writers in developing authentic voice and transformative storytelling.
Following the event, Stephanie Theobald’s book, Sex Drive, will be available for purchase and signing.

This is Seth () with a full frame of local desert wildflower honey — pulled from one of just 12 colonies of tough, locally adapted bees.
“The desert gives us a very short honey season, followed by a long summer dearth. Every jar is hard-earned”, says Seth.

Raw desert honey is a rare treat!

MARTIN PARR: Fashion Magazine, Summer 2005

In 2005, the prolific British photographer and book guru Martin Parr, who passed away just a few days ago, created a one-off magazine. Conceived as a pastiche of a fashion magazine, it features advertisements, short essays, interviews, and Parr’s own discerning—often humorous—photographs throughout. The magazine quickly became a collector’s item, selling out its 10,000-print run almost immediately.
