As many already know, Melrose is no longer owned and operated by the Suggs family. As of last Thursday, it has been sold and is under new management.

We would like to publicly thank everyone who has supported us for the last 16 years. We have worked hard to provide a clean, welcoming store to help serve our community, and we will cherish all of the friendships and memories made with so many of you through the years.

We hope that each of you will continue to support its new owner and show him why we think the Colbert Heights Commumity is one of the best places you could ever be.

We look forward to this new season of life despite the difficulty in saying goodbye to something that means so much to us.

We will be open until 6 P.M. Please call ahead to order, because we are getting low on lots of food items. We are unable to get any food/milk/bread deliveries because trucks cannot make it to us.

Please pass along that our phones are currently down and have been for some time now. AT&T is aware and says it could be another 7-10 business days.

While we understand how frustrating this is for you as customers, please understand that it is not ideal for our workers either. Please be kind during this time.

In a time when it's hard to fill shifts to keep places up and running, we are thankful for the ladies that continue to show up and serve our community.

Hopefully, we will be able to update soon that our phones have been restored to working order.

Hate to do it, but we again have no one to cover the Saturday night shift.

We will close the deli at 1 P.M. and the store at 5:30 today. Again, we will be closing the store at 5:30 P.M.

Thank you for understanding. We are trying our best to get someone to start covering and help us out.

Our deli will be closed tonight. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Our cook has worked 5 AM until 3 PM, and we only have one worker to cover tonight's shift.

Please let us know of anyone willing to work, especially nights. Send them to see Jeff, Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2 PM.
